Thread: Two Great Plains Stalkers
Oh, the sadness. Hopefully I can find another one or two of these guys, and actually get a baby to spawn.

The key to the drive away / respawn method is perseverence. It took me 2 hours one night to make it happen. Most boring thing I've ever done in game (besides survey)... but Mufasa is worth it.![]()
I agree, it was just unfortunate I found them about the time that I had to log. There was no way I could stay on longer. As far as being bored in that 45 minutes, I wasn't too bored. If I found another tame, I'd stop to tame it. Quick question, did you wait for a minute at the 500+ meter mark, or did you come back right away.
Thanks in advance.
yes soon as the spawn leaves view and it unspawns.. go back and its usually fresh.
Sometimes its hard when your near a town or populated area, cause other people will be around and the spawn wont trigger.

I've been trying for a week to find one of these. So last night I came upon 2 of them within 100M of each other. I'm thinking that this is awesome. 2X the chances to get a baby. I tried the Drive away, and respawn method for 45 minutes before I had to log. No babies :-(

I beleive you are on sunrunner. If you are can you send the wp to Tonja. I would love to get a GPS
Tonja
Using this "drive 600m away until target disappears, then go back" method I spent 4 1/2 hours and over 220 respawns ... until the spawn was suddenly replaced by gurrcats.
Do I need to mention no baby?

At least 600m away. I usually lost target at 570m out.
Target the GPS, then drive away while it's still targeted. When you lose the target, it has been "de-spawned". NOT when you can't see it anymore.
Yeah you are right, if you are on a bike or something fly about 600m away... but if you are trailing between lairs on foot or there is a mob ready to kill you that is close by... as long as you are about 200+ meters and the lair or creature goes out of view and like disapears from your view... wait about 30 seconds or fight the other lair or something... when you head back it is usually fresh.
I didnt mean like fly a couple meters away and go back.. otherwise I wouldnt have a data pad full of rares and new rares right now ![]()
