With the Ranger revmap thats coming along, it has been stated that area track in its current form is being removed from the game.
Now, why could they just not remove the ability to track people and move this skill into Creature Handler? The devs consider area track not to be worth much anyway and it may yet return in some form, but looking at the direction ranger is moving it away from just wilderness survial and hutning and more into the realms of stealth.
I would like to see area tracking for just creatures kept in the game, i'd like to see it move into CH but would accept scout at a push - as scouts are already getting quite a lot from the ranger revamp.
So whats your thoughts?

yep i replied to a message in the scout forums about this. i agree that it would be nice to have the track ability for creatures in CH

How about putting it in the hunting line (seems the obvious place anyway)- then BE's can benefit from this skill as well (Im MBE/CH and it would be really useful)

Go here and sign for AreaTrack to be added to the Scout profession.
