Ok so i dont play my CH much. however i have started using him MCH/MBH and found it a very effective combo in NPC bounty hunting. I am almost ready to train my kimo in his first lvl what can he be trained in? Is there a guide? I feel like a noob....

He needs to have enough ability slots opened to teach all of the different abilities you want him to have, and he needs enough training points since teaching abilities "cost" training points to teach. The basics are that you fight with your pet to get it xp. In your datapad you'll see his xp "cap." Everytime you hit that xp cap you will have "rolled over" your pet one time. Everytime you roll over your pet's xp cap you get some training points for him and sometimes you get an ability slot opened up for him. The number of training points you get at each roll over is dependent upon his CL and so is the number of ability slots he can potentially have.

For more detailed information, please read the stickies at the top of this forum... specifically the Look Here First FAQ and The Guide to the New CH System

Good luck

There is a guide on the "new pet abilities". To train him you will need to have learned an ability from another creature to teach him. this means going out and taming lots of creatures, then using thecreatures with abilities to fight until you have learned its ability.

However, a short cut to this would be to find a MCH to teach your pet an ability for you.

In the sticky above it describes abilities and what effects they have on your pet

A good site for mmo fans

Thus sets off page after page of responses. Halfof which are honest and true: "You must download the trial and see for yourself." Some are "sky is falling" responses. One or two suspect some trolling and question how the OP is able to post here. And the remainder latch on to one of the questions and debate the topic until flying pigs return carrying the wayward cows.
