Welp, I finally got Self-Sacrifice 1 and 2 (2 took forever! I think i tamed 5000 gurnaset hatchlings and never found it. Got it on the 2nd try from a sentarli scavenger)

Here's the results. As someone else had posted, I don't think it stacks I pulled to pets and activated Self-sacrifice and only one pet actually exhibited the effects of it. Ok on to some more specifics. Also, as I said earlier the minimum range the pet has to be within is 10 m for Self-Sacrifice to activate.

On the times:

Self-sacrifice 1: 15s
Self-sacrifice 2: 25s
Self-sacrifice 3: 40s

Damage reduction:

Self-sacrifice 1: 9.5%
Self-sacrifice 2: 25%
Self-sacrifice 3: 50%

(these values vary +/- 0.5% it seems)

On the mitigation of the pet, I was wrong in my earlier post stating that pets take a set amount of damage from using Self-sacrice. Looking at a range of damages, it seems that the pet takes the damage that it mitigated from you. So if 549 damage is mitigated to 275, the pet takes the difference of 247 damage.

Welp thats about it I guess hehehe, made some nice pets for my TKM, MD, Sword 0,1,3,0 tank

A level 10 Carrion spat with Self-Sacrifice 3, and Intimdate 2
A level 10 Cupa with Self-sacrifice 3, and Imperling feint 1

heheh

Oh yea btw, even though this is a post on Self-sacrifice, has anyone tested out lightning reflexes. I had a chance to test out Lightning reflexes 1 and 2, and they seem to mitigate damage also. LR1 is a 8.51% damage reduction and LR2 was a 14.89% damage reduction.

I'm thinking a level 70 pet with Thick skin 3, Lightning reflexes 3, Aggression 3 and some Guarded Stance and Beastly COnstitution. Would totaly be a tank tank tank.

Ankhesanamun out!
