Thread: Looking for input
Thanks for the advice...But I think something is different. I tried for again last night, and I consistently fail on any agro con mob....if they are below lvl 20 i can eventually get them but not without 10 or more tries...this is over 4 days...its an obsession now hehe....
I tried high level mobs for 3 days straight., just to see if it was the day or time. And I have talked to a lot of others in game that are trying as well. I'm just looking for confirmation from NON-MASTER ch's that are having problems. Masters, which I have asked many, are not having issues. So its a bug or a stealth nerf for all BUT masters.
Oh and does anyone know of a non-agro mob that has babies and is above lvl 35? As of tonight I will be at taming 45 and training 45, but I still want to confirm that its all but impossible to tame agro mobs near your max level, but its fine with non-agro ones. I also want to confirm that I can now train lvl 30 mobs easier.
The disturbing possibility is that the change affects anything near your cap, and when, someday, they release higher level monsters, masters are going to die over and over, destroying all their stuff. I feel like chicken little, but there is no way to confirm that its not a bracketed range. This should concern us all, as if it really is impossible to tame anything within X levels from your max, no one will be able to tame the higher level stuff they keep promissing.
LOL hehe One more detail.....The things I have been trying to tame as of late, that are all but impossible to tame now, were easy tames before, even on the first tries...Since I got half my xp from taming, as I only have one pet out at a time until just yesterday, I was taming and releasing everyting in site. So I have some exposure to general patters. Heck, I tamed my first Graul Mauler the firsttry, and the Mauler, and then took 10 tries for a BDQuenker....I just have not had any success since the patch with anything higher than lvl 30. Oh well enough rambling. I really am looking for input. Ill be master soon, so it wont matter for me very much longer. But I worry about my friends that are still in the low areas.
I seriously think you should get some sleep. That's what I think.

Ok got some sleep....But the problem didnt go away.....anyone else want a shot?
hehehehehehehehahahahahahahahaohohohohohohoh what madness?????
Anyway, I'm currently torn between the two and looking for input from others about what gives me the most harvesting "bang for my buck". Thanks.
I just gave up TKM and the beauty of that profession is that you are almost entirely self sufficent, you can heal wounds, poison, disease by yourself. This fits well with being a solo and grouped hunter.
Tracking 4 is sufficient to provide the resources you and your friends need, but be wary, Master Ranger does have a seductive appeal...
with the points left over, I would invest in medic 1.0.0.0 or a bit higher, or get master brawler. Just my opinion however, your template seems well fitted for what you want to do
TKM is able to take down beasts much bigger and tougher than yourself. the powerboost ability in tka's is essential, it was really hard to give it up.
good hunting mate
