Thread: Is there a tips section for poor novice CHs?

I just made novice CH, and my guy's poor (well, not completely, but he's also a rifleman, and T21s are expensive...) so I don't wanna find a BE'd pet. Anyway, I got myself some durnis, and a rot mite, they're still babies, but the durnis for sure won't be much use. The rot mite might, max hp is like 1100 or so, but he still hasta grow. I didn't notice it in that lengthy (and tremendously useful) guide, but what should I go tame that might actually be able to fight so I get experience? For kicks, I pitted my baby durnis up against adults, and 1 of them got a hit in, giving me experience

Hopefully someone here will be able to give you more specific advice, but I've found www.swgcreatures.com helpful in picking out creatures to tame as I move through the lower skill levels.

Well what you were doing is how you do it. Have the pets you are catching attack once. Create like a macro that has them attack and then follow then you kill off the creature

For your level, BE is really the way to start off. Running around taming those low level babies works too..tame/release

If your in need of money, get in group missions

I hate groups I can get a good amount of money, just I need to get a T21 or two first, as well as powerups, a backpack, etc. When I have those, I'll worry about getting a BE pet. I suppose I'm just waiting 'till mister rot mite can live through more than one hit for now

A lot of times people grinding BE will put decent low level pet deeds on the bazaar just to free up inventory space...check it out, you might find a really great deal since they can't charge more than 6k.

You'll need a couple boxes first but one of the better and more plentiful ones for you to tame are Kahmurras. They are everywhere and when full grown have 2700 HAM across the board and are only CL 15 I believe.

I have 4 or 5 of them right now and just rotate them in and out to get my XP as I try to level.

Male Kaadu aresupereasy to find and I think they make a great novice CH pet. Their HAMs and hits aren't too shabbyconsidering they are only level 14, and because of that level they give you anice amount of XPagainst most mobs.

What Sheenah said. I'm doing BE and CH and I sell off level 12 pets for 6K or less. Usually around 4k ham with some resists. Look through the bazaar.
