There was a thread made recently that discussed what the worst combat class mix would be. CH/Squad leader was mentioned.

TKA or Rifleman...with 18 skill points in CH you wouldn't be able to get much. If you stayed away from the taming branch and went for management you could have two low level crappy pets, or you could go for the taming and have one low level crappy aggro pet! You see where this is going? I think the best you could hope for is a 2-0-2-0 which wouldn't leave you many options. You could still use some aggressive pets, and with the new BE stuff you might get something that could take a beating. There's a BE on my server that specializes in low level tanks 60% kinetic resists and AR1...but absolutely nothing else...no specials, no damage, no attack speed, no other resists, just 7k HAM worth of meatshield at level 25. Check around on your server for a BE that could manage something like that...you're not going to get anything remotely good in the wild with 18 skill points to spend.

Without novice included, you could do this;

4/0/0/0 ---> 14 skill points & you get CL24 pets & agro

3/0/1/0 ---> 17 skill points & you get CL21 pets & some agro & a trick command

2/0/2/0 ---> 18 skill points & you get CL20 pets & you would be stupid to go this route.

Im Master Fencer / Master CH / Novice Medic (just for a bit of healing) ..I got1 skill point left and i do just dandy. Though maybe a ranger profession would be better? But i enjoy melee

A BE can make you a CL 24 pet with 50 kinetic and descent ham. Is that good enough? Could get expensive healing on extended planets.
