How much and rare are the Toxic Merek Battlelords? And, what special attacks do these level 45, relatively poor resist creatures have?
I got one last night on Corbantis along with a delirious merek.

What's so poor about a toxic merek battle lord's resists? Yeah they're vulnerable to energy; just don't fight npc's or gun toting players and you're golden.
For a wild, level45pet it has awesome resists IMHO:
Light Armor
40 kinetic
60 blast
50 stun
60 heat
50 cold
60 electricity
80 acid
60 restraint
Add in their blind attack and strong poison and you have a pretty damn decent pet. No idea what it'll fetch you on Corbantis. On Valcyn there isn't much of amarket (other than special order BE pets) for any CH critters.

They have vulnerability to Energy which is kind of a downer. Excellent Pet otherwise.

I used my TMB a lot. Very tough critter! They often used specials and poisoned my prey or advisary fairly frequently.

I stand corrected on the resists. The problem with my usage is I do a lot of faction missions.

I use mine all the time since he doesn't have the repositioning problem that the big boys (grauls and rancors) have on rough terrain. However I mostly do PvE. He's my main tank (at least until I tame a gurreck or make a good one).

Well, I sold one for 50k. Gave another to Kodiak, and have 2 more in pad. So, I covered all my bases. Now for that dang Mantrigue Screecher baby....

I have 5 TMB's that I use on a regular basis accompanied by an Boar Wold. Very nice pet combo. I like that better than my mantrigue Screecher. Just my input

thanks again smaku. (we are hunting partners) we have been looking for screechers to tame, not to fight with but just tohave one. it is one of our goals. we like trying to find rare pets.

Since no one really answered the rare question I will. These fine creatures are not really rare. I have made a grand total of 1 trip to endor so far for taming and the first baby on my "to tame" list I found was a TMB. That was without tapping or destroying the liar, he was just there. I did find another one by tapping the lair but the spawn was just too thick around him and I kept getting attacked so I gave up on him since I had already tamed the first one. That was all in one night.
