Thread: Non-CH Best of the best pets?
I've always liked the carrion spat as a nonCH pet. It can be trained as a mount, has the best ham for level 10at 1100, damage 90-110, and has a special attack: Stunning Strike (most level 10 pets have a special attack). There are a number of level 10 pets that do more damage (120-130 is best I've seen) and others like lowland brackaset can be tamed as mounts. But the higher HAM and trainable as a mount is why I think the carrion spat is one of the best level 10 pets available.I'm talking wild pets, of course. WhileBE is better, wild is cheaper. Though Iwould hope that there are level 10 BE pets out there cheaper than 250k.
None of the tamed creatures are worthy of battle past the newbe zone.
On the BE'd creatures, I make ones that will probaqbly remain legal with like 4k health and 10 kinetic and like 50 damage. Truth is, they would cost a lot to keep alive also.
When I was a growing BE, I had a Razor cat and an Angler with 7k ham. Yes, I could kill spineflaps with them... but wow... they cost a fortune to keep alive. If you get into the high teens, you can start to get a pet like the one described above and that would be useful. After that one gets nerfed and releveled, it will probably go to the CL 30's, because there is nothing in nature under CL 38 that has that much kinetic.

I concur. Wild Non-CH creatures are just too weak.
