Thread: ** Got my first tames last night **

We went to Dathomir on a four man NS hunt and ran into a buttload of rancor. First time on Dath. That place creeps me out. Anyways, got enough exploration and trapping xp to get my novice CH and after becoming a scout lunchable for some rancor, I went back to Corellia, got buffed and picked up my training.
After that, we disbanded after a couple more rancor and myself and another buddy got to Dantooine where I get my first two tames. A pair of bols from the same lair. I call them Tom and Jerry. I was more excited about the taming than I was about the rancor kills, it was pretty cool.
Sorry, just had to share it. Only been playing for about three weeks or so. Have yet to get more than five hours of sleep since I started.

congrats man..welcome to the wonderfull world of ch..as you stat becoming obsessed with finding rare pets..the sleep hrs will decrease even further..lol

Congrats on your first tames. The road to Master Creature Handler is a long one. Don't worry just have fun and you will get there.

Cool, I'm going spat hunting tonight. I want a spat mount, plus they make decent low level tanks. Gonna have to give up either a bol, my kaadu, or the Cu Pa. I need to level fast, four animals is not enough for me ;-)
The Cupa is level 10 so I might keep him, who knows. Half the fun is in the management.

Find an MCH or Pack Master to train one of your mountable pets once they get old enough.
The cu pa is a pretty good starting pet, but any of the mount critters are in the CL 9 to 11 range and thus are good against low level mobs.
Just have fun learning how to fight with your pets, don't worry much about XP, just have fun!

Sleep? whats sleep? Ive heard of that somewhere but i cant remember... One of these days im gonna get the last 3 critters on my want list. Bull Rancor, Arachne Widow & Great Plains Stalker and then ill get to expeirience this sleep your referring to.
