I got a rancor about 3 weeks ago, 11k HAM level 35, He is fully grown now and I can tame level 36 creatures (I'm 2/2/3/4) but when I try to call my rancor it says "You lack the skill to tame that creature" anyone know what gives?

not sure..but i think the fix would be to level up..

Yeah, it's the vicious creature calling part. When they're below CL 30, you can call them without vicious taming skills, but once they hit 30 the full impact of not having Taming III kicks in.

Put on some vicous taming attire and you should be able to call with only Taming II.

I had this problem with my giant crystal snake and huurton stalker until I got a more Taming boxes, but the clothing fixed the issue for me.

I have a simular problem, I have 2 BE rancors that are between cl 66-69 I am a MCH so I should have no problem calling them, But unless I eat some taming food with +8 wild and vicious or put on the taming cloths that give my +25 taming I cant call and I get the same message.
