Thread: Change in strategy saves some hair loss. Do others agree? ALL DONE YEAH!
Thank you in advance.
I decided after three days of at least 10 waypoints of lairs in a circle, driving back and forth to get a respawn trick working, to change to a single lair in a less travelled area. I believed that 1. the area between Science and the village, although dense in the needed lairs may have had to much traffic to positively know if the lair was despawning. 2. multiple liars going back and forth, you would think provides increases probability for the lair to respawn a baby.
Well I tried something different, I went out found one shearmite soldier lair and worked it and only that lair. Two trips and bam first baby tamed with Thick Skin, tapped lair two trips it respawned as baby Defensive agility.
Continuing for the last of the known abilities cowering vigilence, wish me luck.

I found both Cowering Vigilance & Thick Skin on Shear Mite Soldiers.
Both were from the same spawn. Not sure what the Lair was like tho. sorry.

Looking for L3, group 4, Cowering Vigilance, Defensive Agility, Thick Skin. Reportedly found on Giant Angler, Shear Mite Soldier, and Gaping Spider Queen. The reports of anglers I won't accept without a screenie. They are L2 and a diff group. I have found many types of lairs with the GSQ but no luck on babies and shear mites not much luck there either. I had read and can not find a post from a CH that described how to tell the lair characteristics that lend itself to babie spawning.
Thank you in advance.

Yes, so far these have only been reported on the Shear Mite Soldier (CL70), and the Gaping Spider Queen (CL65)( i have screenies of both) so i know they are both correct.
Shear mite soldiers are quite easy to find, just head towards the village fromthe science outpost, and stop at all shear mite soldier spawns (then use the head away and back trick)
The Gaping Spider Queen is pretty hard to find thou... i was lucky and just happened across one... Look for gaping spider broodlings, they spawnwith the queen, and then again, use the head away and back trick...
The Giant Angler does ONLY have L2. (Several screenies and tames confirmed)
Good luck. (PS - see my sig for the latest updated XL list of innates - still work in progress, as i'm still not convinced the grouping for L3 is correct)
I have gotten thick skin L3 off of soldiers and i have some pretty solid intel on where to find them.
You go to the south eastern corner of the map up in the mountains. You will come across massive sheer mite spawns of all varieties.
Since sever reset this morning I would say one lair, it was Thick Skin first then Defensive agility, then 5 with nothing and then Cowering Vigilence.

You will have to tell us what it says when all are learned. Wonders if the devs even offered to put in a victory song like they used to.
Nothing special happened, but I believe in hidden skills from the "group 0" kinda like searching for ShangriLa, not sure they exist but will be fun looking and training up some of those pets to see if when they are fully grown and used it might trigger something.
