Thread: What is your Best Catch?
My favorite wild pet is my "Frog O'Death" Giant spined puc. These guys are great! Don't be fooled by the name "Giant".
mine would be my great plains stalker. i had spent weeks looking for one (this was pre cu btw). i was part ranger at the time so i had over 50 wp set at 400m apart in expanding circles around the lord nyax poi. id fly out to them every day and check then when i found nothing or killed the adults and no babies spawned in the respawns id start killing lairs. Well one day i was doing just that, i had done the circles and nothing so i started killing creatures in the area.
well that wasnt working after 3 hours so i got on my bike to try another area. all of the sudden im cruising along and BAM! theres an adult on top of me and boy was he mad at me. (remember this was at a time when everyone needed armor and buffs for tough stuff and the great plains stalker was still a nasty fellow). ijumped off my bikeexcited that once i killed this a baby could spawn. i was so set on getting a baby that i failed to realize that my buffs had run out and i was still waiting on some AS to make my armor. I had planed to find an adult and have my pet hold the aggro while i wacked on it. needless to say its didntend pretty and i got a ride to the cloner in a town only about 1k away.
As im getting ready to head back out there im thinking theres no way its still there. it will have despawned on me. So im feeling like crap as i head back to the place of my shameful demise, when a bright yellow spot is there to greet me. I swear my friend must have thought i had gone insane when i shouted in a tell "OMG A BABY!". that little guy sure was a fiesty one but after 3 tries he rested quietly in my datapad. Still have him and im gonna keep him. its the memories of the tame for me that count not the innate ability on the pet

My level 69 Kinad Baz Nitch named "Bastich" a term used by Lobo who is a comic bookanti-hero. He came with Staggering Attack L3. He has since been trained with Aggression L2, Precision Strike L1 and Intimidate L1. Eventually I will add more innates skills.
My most recent addition of note is a Level 69 young reptile flyer I named SS. This was short for the Self Sacrifice L3 special he came with.Ilearned his skill, but am not sure ifthis is a "keeper" worth the grind to full maturity.
My Rarest:Gaping Spider Queen baby (Starsider wp 2860 -2724) . Tamed tonight. Came with Cowering Vigilance L3.At wild lair.Ihad not ever seen one of these, so was happy to get it and with special. I recently deleted a Mantgrue Screecher baby and Frenzied Graul baby because they didn't have specials. Was also lucky tonight and tamed anAncient Replian Flier with Agression L3. This was on the way to the village and there was a strange spawn of like 30-40 fliers. Tamed 3 ancient babies that were there but only 1 had the special.
Most Fun: Giant Veermok baby. He didn't havea special, but it is such a funny pet that I get a laugh every time I call him. The spatial goes wild with people making comments from OMG to /shrinks in horror from the site of Lurch! Some how he is almost or equal in stature to a Rancor. He is a level 20 and looks like a huge grey gorilla. I had never seen them before and the wild ones didnt look so big, but he sure grew tall. He is so tall he even hangs up onthe arches at cnet and can't get past them. He does tricks of front and back flips and dancing. When you pet him, he lays down and does his PlayGirl pose. And he sure yells when I tell him to stay.
What are the rares now-a-days? Just wondering which ones I should be keeping even if they don't have a special. And I sure don't know which specials are the best. I have taught my 3 Narglatches (2 regular and 1 Female) each a pair of different states.
