hey guys whats up, I am needing a lil help, I am a human on the server scylla. I am doing swordsman and have two things to talk about....

first off what would be some good stats to have as far as health, action, and mind, along with secondaries. This is one of my biggest problems and I get wailed on....

Secondly if anyone can make some awesome advanced kinetic ubese armor on scylla I would be willing to pay very well. also how much does a good suit of advanced ubese go for, I will probably pay higher.

My name is ucalchi on the server scylla, give me a tell sometime if you can help me out.

HAM setup really depends on if you wear armor, and if you have medic, or doctor, etc.

humans have an easy time stat migrating

i suggest getting buffed when your grinding to master

getting a buff means your primary concern is going to be mind so make your health and action around 800 each and your mind about 900 -1000

if you have stims then your healthaction and all the secondaries can suffer to the jacking up of focus willpower. make those pretty high.

now when your buffed you'll be able to use a 2h curved or a PH or a cleaver comfortably, and when your not buffed jsut make sure your secondaries are around 470 or above

Ok, I got Novice CH last night. And every baby animal I cam across, about 10 before I finally gave up and camped, would not let me tame. Every time I tried I got the "You cannot Tame that" message. I tried lvls 1-13, and not one worked. I tried with and without Mask Scent, I went to mostly wild lairs, but two or three mission lairs. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be nice. Thanks in advance!

At Novice CH you should be able to tame up to CL 12 I believe. Mask Scent does to my knowledge not improve taming, I never use it, and still get all the babies I need.
What exactly was your problem? Did the Tame Option show up in the radial dial at all? If not, you probably hit the infamous "you can't tame that" bug, which crops up from time to time. Try moving 1k away, that usually helped me.

If you were able to try to tame, but just didn't succeed ... try to get BE clothing with +taming mods, and also a crate of the taming food ... almond somethings, they really help.

Also, I think at novice CH you still cannot tame aggressive creatures, that ability is in the first tree, maybe that was the problem?

Oh, and mission lairs do not spawn babies anymore, don't waste your time on them.

Ok...

No, there was no option on the radial menu to tame. None of the creatures were hostile. I thought there was something up with mission lairs with the no babies spawning. So it must of been this bug. All you need to do is walk away 1k then come back? Would it help to camp and come back? Thanks again

I do not know what causes this bug (and I don't think the Devs know either), but in my experience targetting the offending baby, and moving away until the target is lost, then coming back, helped.

The first time I had this, it was really painful ... I was on the prowl, looking for a bloodseeker mite queen, kept visiting spawns of them (I think 5 in a circle, each 400-800m away from the last), and after 2 hours finally found a baby ... that wasn't tameable. My guild thought my curses on guildchat were rather ... colorful
Moving away, then returning made me able to tame again, but of course, the baby respawned into an adult. 3 hours later, I finally found a second baby, this time tameable.

I can't believe this bug is still effecting people, it's been like 5 months now if i'm not mistaken.

I had a running theory on it having to do with theclients not syncing and updating properly. Judging by the way I am bounced backwards at times "rubberbanding" I would say the clients still need a lot of work.

You'l see updates stating "client stability" in these cases its usually effecting almost all aspects of the game one of them being where you appear to be on a map and where the client thinks you are on the map. Like sitting in a med center and then you slide across the floor. the clients sync/update causing this to happen.

Place this theory onto taming "there were other reasons after the cu that made this viable but i won't get into it here". If the clients do not update properly then although you appear next to a baby and should be able to tame it one aspect of the game thinks your not even close to it. It could even believe your kilometers away.

Solutions, many theories before I left, it could have changed but I'l tell ya what I doknow. try logging out for a while 15minat the least, but 1 hour is best to totally reset your character on the server. Try to login where your day of taming will be. I have heard some people say calling vehicles seems to help too "don't ask me why". Last but not least keeping the baby you want but cant tame on radar and see if you can kill something in the general area with no risk to the baby. Combat may help update the clients.

Nothing here is solid and guaranteed to work but it's worth a try untill a fix comes.

Affecting me too.

Last night I came upon a nest of 2 hilltop gurreck hunters babies and I was exstatic!

Both of them were untameable due to this bug. I was no longer exstatic.
