my guild says i am wrong but i believe i am right...
does the (taming wild creatures +X) bonus let you call out a higher level pet or does it let you tame creatures faster?
my guild members said it doesnt let you call out a higher level pet.. not sure if this is true or not

If you want to bump your Taming mod, get a piece ot two of enhanced clothing or Almonl Crunch.

I wear a +25 taming robe when I am out looking for new freinds to tame and play with.

It does affect calling your aggro creatures though. For example, I'm 3434 in CH right now and I have both a rancor and a toxic merek battlelord. I cannot call either without equipping my +25 taming hat. That takes me from taming vicious (20) up to (+45). Not exactly sure how the numbers work out on that, or why it does that.. but it does.

If you had +30 taming, only +25 of it would be working, so...

Your guildies are right. The + taming wild creatures bonus determines your chances of a taming success. It is the Max pet level bonus which determines the level of pet you can call/tame.
