Thread: Mind attacks

I know this was listed before, but perhaps there is more knowledge available on this subject now. Currently I am using the Rifle Skill to compliment my CH skills. The problem is twofold. First the new over 45m away and die means you don't get XP. The bigger problem is that most pets attack the health and action bars on the HAM.

So, my question is this: What trainable creatures have attacks that target the mind?

I am seriously considering a change over to pistols. I just hate to toss out the approximately 300k XP I acquired in the rifle profession.

Thanks in advance!

After hunting many Biz Natches on Dathomir I have found they drain my 900 mind pool to half when I get hit from them. They are tamable, and ugly as heck. Should have about 10000HAM and they hit me for over 700 sometimes but they hit the pets for 300 or so.

I had been meaning to look into this as well. Just did a quick scan of the posts in the forum here and it doesn't look to me as if there is any comprehensive knowledge on the subject except an agreement that flying creatures tend to attack the mind pool. One poster says go to Endor and one to Lok for un-named flying critters. Rasps are also mentioned as creatures which attack mind. It would be great to compile information on all creatures and what attribute they attack.

In skimming the boards, I saw this post and wondered the same thing myself. Over this past weekend, I tamed my first Savage Humbaa on Corellia, and lo-and-behold, this sucker's special ranged attack looks like it's taking out the target's mind bar! I'm open to someone who knows what they're talking about more than I do saying I'm nuts, but I saw the full-grown Savage Humbaa's incap'ing the rest of my party by taking down their mind-pools, too. Has the Sniper/CH pet been found?

Rasps are the absolute weakest pets you can find. Death in one hit by a novice marksman wielding a CDEF pistol without using a special. Only weaker thing I can think of is kreetles, possibly.

They don't, and they don't really need one tbh, can do perfectly fine without.. so with one we'd be overpowered and become fotm

We don't have a mind specific attack. But we do have scatterhit which hits all three pools at once
