I used the token respec to come back to CH because the new changes sounded interesting. I've convert some of my pets that were invalid to their "proper" level but I still can't call them and it says that they have improper stats. I also get no futher option to adjust them. Keeping in mind also that these guys were adjusted a couple times post CU before I respec'd out of CH to try something else. Have these older pets now become completely useless?

Sounds like you've got a stable of BE critters, and alas, they're probably all SOL, along with you.
However, this can be turned to your advantage; the new system discourages the retention of older pets, be they BE or natural. So you might consider working on a new stable.

This is from another post but ...
There would only be sentemental reasons for keeping any of your existing pets because none of them will have the "free" ability you can get with a new pet with a innate ability and thus your existing pets can never be trained up to the level of the same type new creature.

Indeed I knew a very good BE and she created some marvelous pets, unfortunately her love was making pets and BE's have had a real ruff go of it since the CU and she ended up quitting the game. Actually I only adjusted the levels on a couple of pets, the rest I could doing nothing with I just kept getting error messages. These poor guys have been through alot and while "releasing" them back into the wild would seem to be the thing to do I just hate to do it.(crazy but I think I'll miss them) Oh well, I guess I'd better just dive in and see what these new changes have to offer, it sure does look interesting reading a few of these other posts here. Thanks for the info
