Thread: Any MCM / MCH players out there?

Has anyone had any experience with a Master Combat Medic / Master Creature Handler template? I am considering using my token respec to get out of MBE after all this time. The pet crafting system of BE is such a pitiful joke now that I don't find much fun in the class anymore. I know I won't have any specials with MCM/MCH (but with the new pet specials that shouldn't be a problem) and I don't want to PVP or be a Jedi.....just PVE. Any downsides to this combo that I am not seeing?

Thanks in advance,

I used this template for a long time. IMHO it's a great template for everything but grinding to get your jedi (Unless you are going to do all 4 senses lines. Even then you have to do two lines of something else). When I get my alt I'm deffinitly going back to MCH, MCM. You also have to be a little bit carefull about what you pull.

Good luck. Poison, burn, thyroid rupture to slow attacks, electrolite drain to slow movement, your pets for another DOT, and your weapon for yet another DOT you have a lot of advantages. Your weapons usually don't do enough damage to take the hate from the MOB so your pet will be a good tank for you. You can also heal your pet to help it out.

Thanks for the reply and info !

I think this is making more sense to me. It will push me to CL 80 which will help a ton on Dath and Yavin when I am looking for pets. Right now, I have so much trouble there it is rediculous (currently CL60). I will miss making pets, but I have missed that since the CU anyway. Maybe I will make a factory run of stims and enhancers first and maybe a few pets for future use and then respec.

I love the combo.. altho it may not be as useful for others. I like the fact that I can throw all my bio/chem warfare at the target and still let my pet have the satisfaction of a kill all by themselves, haha

Ocasionally, I have to step in for a shot or two... but don't tell them I told you that.

I was a carbineer so I kept the novice portion to at least have some ability to handle a weapon.

I enjoy this template myself but for some additional damage, considera tree from bounty hunter since you already have the required boxes for novice. I took carbines for the critical shot which works very well with a good ALR.

My newest char template is MCH/MBH CM 4,0,0,0 and I think I picked up /forage from scout so I can feed my pets for the wounds. This is an awesome PvE Template. I let my pets hit my marks. The new BH loot is awesome. I use ranged heals for 1000 pts a hit. I can lay states, wear Assault and Battle armor w/o hinderances. The BH missions are great for making cash. Not real up on PvP for Jedi, but PvE my pets can take almost anything except some of the bosses with 33K HAM and all I do is throw heals.
