So, I was out tooling around on Endor, when I *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* mantigrue screecher (baby)!!!!!!!!!! OMFG, I wasn't even looking and here one is! So, I tell my pet to "stay," maskscent, and walk on over. /tame. I fail, it aggros, I run to my bike. I tell my pet to follow and high tail it outta there. As soon as the aggro stops, I turn around and *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab* - NO baby!!! I go closer, hoping that is just hasn't shown up on radar or something yet - *tab* *tab* *tab* *tab*. Nothing. Finally, I get close enough, and there it is. The corpse of a mantigrue screecher (baby). NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I was crushed - the parents killed it. Doh!
Anyway, that's my tale of screecher woe.

The parents attacked the baby? I've never seen that happen, didn't even know it was possible.

they have an unknown area attack as their 1st or 2nd special, if they attack you they quite often aggro on each other.
Bad luck on that one, if only I was still a CH I could have heaps of these rare babies, I spend days out in the wild and see so many very rare babies but unable to tame them, if I see something good I always do a search for a CH near me to offer them the pet but never seem to find anyone..
Had an Arcahne Widow Baby the other day, someone would have loved that baby!

Wabit, you are the VERY BEST! I love my newest baby thanks to you (an arachne widow)!

widow's on radiant are found SE of the south outpost on endor... the furthest i've seen them is 2k closest is right outside the outpost... basicly head due east and work you way south to till you hit some native village like 1500m from the outpost... just stay in that S/E quadrant wander around (i have more luck on foot)...
its ok you can sell the last of you singles, i still have 3/4ths crate of c's... just with the decent dath insect was hoping to get a couple more... who knows when we'll see more good meat lol... last shift only took 2 months...
