Hello,

Last night I have accuried the skill of Novice Creature Handler.

I would like to first point out that I really had a hard time finding a creature handler trainer. Someone actually had to lead me to one. Therefore, I have a couple of questions....

1.) Is there a command linecommand or menu-command in the SWG interface that will tell me where a creature handler is when I am on a planet? I would have the fact of going back to the same planet over and over again just to get creature handling training.

2.) I would like to get a list of creature handler commands in which I can train a pet or creature. (Please do not tell me to go to the support fourms or holocron as I have already been there and searched with several key words which did not resolve the question)

I am counting on professional, no nonsense, and complete information replies to this post.

Thank you very much in advance,

Ixtli

no need to go to the trainer. any CH that has learned that box can teach you that level. once you have aquired enough xp just go to the space port and ask around there is alway some one that is willing to train you. in the commands area once you have a pet do a radial on the pet and it will tell you what you can train your pet. as you go up the tree you will be able to train it in more commands. good luck and welcome.

Thank you for the reply, however this was not the answer that I was looking for. Let me re-state.

1.) Command list or menu command to find a creature handler trainer?

2.) List of commands that a creature handler can use?

Hehe he probably didn't give you the answer you were looking for but that was it.

1. none.

2. none. (unless you train them with the radial menu)

Thank you very much,

I actually found this out by myself but thanks for the complete and correct reply. I also found out about the /tellpet command which you can type at the command line but not from the knowllege base.

Actually the first person didn't answer my question at all. I guess he just wanted to sell his stuff. Nothing wrong with that but next time he/she should try asking.

However, the second answer you gave was not excetlay complete either as far as the redial goes. You fail to mention the important part which I stumbled on acidently. However, looking through the forums your not the only person to do this. Therefore, I will make a addition to your already appricated reply....

How train a pet using the redial menu:

1.) Target your pet either from the Datapad when applicable, or you can call your pet using the mouse pointerin the interface.

2.) When the menu appears choose Train: You will then see some sub commands in which you can train your pet. ie... attack, group, etc. choose one of these commands with the mouse pointer.

3.) (And here is the impoartnt part which implies that you pay attention to your pet when doing this). When you choose the command from the subment you will briefly see a "?". This is actually a indicator that you can now enter a command for your pet on the command line. For example when choosing the Attack subment and seeing the "?" you then then type in 'attack' or 'a'. Then when using a trained command on the comand line you can type in ':attack' or ':a' and your pet will attack granted that it has the skill to do so.

In addition, this is the same with Droids as well, the only difference is the arangement of the redial menu.

It's a shame that answers are not listed like this in the Knollege base. It would save a lot of time, effort, hardship, and work if it was the case.
