Thread: Slow retreat from Master CH

So I have decided to move on, nothing personal with the profession despite the Devs attempts to wipe it out, it's just time for a change. So everybody always wants to know the best order for aqyuireing skills, how about the reverse. What would be the best order to surrender skills. Of course master CH is the first to go, but then what. Would keeping the whole first tree allow me to hold onto my beloved 36 level cats?

I could be wrong, but only the third tree has commands the CH uses, the second tree is stored pets, and the third box in 4 gives you 2 pets out at once. Everything else is just stuff you train your pets and, assuming they're fully trained, completely expendable as a result.
Side note: I realize every box looses max level, which is why I didn't mention it. EVERY box will lose it so it's a non-consideration.

I would say get rid of Taming first, because you won't be taming any more pets. Then get rid of Training. and Management 4. (So you can still train mounts, and have 2 pets out at once)
Then i would get rid of all of empathy, and then the rest of management 4. but thats only if you dont want to eventually give up CH. I'd keep all of Empathy and Management 3 if you want to stay with it.

If you want to keep using your level 36 cats, you'll need to keep at least 2 full trees to be able to call them, and then only one at a time.

I find that I really only use 1 pet at a time these days. So I have my monster killer and my NPC killer. Thanks for the help guys.
