Just hit CL 50 and I'm looking for regular Rancor babies. Couldn't seem to pull Rancor missions, even grouped with my CL 47 BE Gurreck. Are there regular Rancor missions, or do the babies spawn from Enraged missions? Or should I just speed around looking for a wild spawn?

I have had babies spawn from Rancor lairs, and Bull Rancor lairs. Never tried the Enraged ones though. I could never get Rancor missions of any kind mayself even as a Master CH with 3 pets and a droid out, had to group with my friend and then we could both get them (with my pets out).

As a matter of fact I was doing some enraged missions last night and saw a baby rancor.

Rancor missions on dath are level 53 if I remember corectly. You may have to group with someone to get them. That's what I did.

Otherwise, I went to a place with lots of rancors yesterday (youth, gnarled, mutant and regular) and saw a baby. I don't have the wp, but I undertsand it's a well known spot, so somebody else should be able to give you the coords.

Try looking around the dath salacc POI waypoint. Lots of rancor lairs in that area.

highlight the POI nightsister/singing clan battle and head there, stay about 2K out there are tons of regular rancor wild lairs there.

OK, panic over. Was in a hunting group and one popped out of a regular Bull Rancor lair. Got it after remembering to remove my armour and put on my maskscent and taming clothes. Wondered why it was being so obstinate. Funnily enough, someone gave me a full-grown just before that, but I just had to go out and tame one for myself.

HUH? WHA??? I've got a TKM/FencerD/Master Brawler/Medic that warms up on Enraged Rancor Missions.... I've done HUNDREDS, and have yet to see a baby of any kind spawn...

are you sure? Not that it really matter... why in gods name you'd go throught all the trouble of gettingan enraged mission to tame a rancor baby is beyond me. Heck, finish one enraged mission solo and you'll have the money you need to buy one. LOL.

KingSnake. (I didn't built that TKM that way on purpose belive it or not... Holo told me to master Fencer after TKM... and well...Once i heard that holo were on the way out, i decided to Master Brawler and keep him as is. My MCH is on Eclipise, FYI.)

heh... getting high level missions solo sucks. I am currently in the process of (hopefully) taming a mantigrue screecher, and to get the mission i have to get my toxic merek battlelord, crystal snake (those two together = level 70) my probot droid, and i have to declare so i can pull out my rebel faction pet. quite a pain in the ass considering the odd hours i play sometimes. I think i used the same cmbination to get my rancor mission when i tamed my regular baby.
