Thread: Why you should always go searching for babies with a M Ranger!

I posted this on the Ranger forums, cause i'm a Ranger, but I figure it's a good word of caution to you CH's as well
On Naritus we have a M.CH that is on the RIN (RangerInformationNetwork)often and all of us on the RIN are good friends with... this is a paraphrase of the conversation me and Cryos(another M Ranger) had with him today...
The conversation went on for a few more minutes about how pissed he was... but i'm sure you all get the moral of the story.. ALWAYS hunt with a Ranger with good Camo

Me:You tamed that bull Rancor Baby yet?
CH:no not yet, he's being a difficult little bugger
Me/Cryos: You'll get him

(few more minutes pass)
CH: I can't belive he did that!!!
Me/Cryos: what happened/What?!?
CH:My friend I'm hunting with just killed the Bull Rancor Baby
Me/Cryos:O_O/I'd kill him...

Well, I'm a ranger and the only thing that I can figure is the baby aggroed the guy that killed it.

because i have gone out with a friend before while he was using camo kits and it seemed to work a bit better when taming

Even so, he should of told his friend to run away if the baby aggroed, beforehand. Or had the friend stand back at a safe distance. Or just have the friend wear camo. I'm sure Rangers don't want to remind people, but anyone can wear camo now.
Even a Ranger that does not know the CH taming system could make the same mistake.
Lesson: If you aren't sure about the guy/gal you are hunting with just tell them what you want them to do to help you.

Thats a bummer, but I'm confused on how this is related to a ranger...

Well what camo does is allow the CH to work while no one is being aggro'd by the babies adult protectors. I assume the guy was attacking theadults to draw aggro so the CH could tame the baby, and the baby aggro'd him, or the guy is just an idiot (the baby killer not the CH), or a combination of both.
Yeah anyone can use camo, but it really is a ton more helpful if a Ranger is around. My crafting alt uses it and it breaks like crazy even with BE clothing. I can ride to the village with my ranger and not have it break anymore.

my crafting alt uses camo kits a ranger friend made for protection, and turns out they work for milking too, even with no scout boxes. i <3 rangers.
