whats the difference in max level of pets and max number of pet lvls? I know one of them is linked to the 60 lvl cap or something like that. Please fill me in. Help is always appreciated.

I've heard that when you group a pet it assumes your lvl. Does this mean when i group with my lvl 65 pet he becomes lvl 58 like me?
