Thread: Pets with AOE attacks
AOE attack pets are obviously for a limited number of situations, the Phase IV prowess/reflex quest in the Village being a very good example.
It's going to be tough to level such a creature in normal situations, mainly because AOE is often very unwanted in grinding groups, for two reasons:
1. Who needs to have 10 bols at or near your own level whupping on you?
2. Multiple mob attacks tend to reduce your XP per mob because it's difficult to get your own single hit in on each mob, let alone get your pet or pets in for their single hits.
i just now tamed an ikopi stag (baby) and he does have an AOE attack. he doesn't use it all the time, only sometimes. but once he has used it, then when the target i sent him to is dead, he goes and finishes the job on the other mobs he hit, without me telling him to. so yeah, he's gonna be tricky.
he had no innate abilities.
