I wanna cry. I found my prize. But it died on me. I was at a mission lair, and at the last spawn set, a baby bull and a rancor youth spawned. I had my pet on guard mode. Before I knew what happened, my pet mauled it for 3/4 health. i had to tell my pet to follow me away from it. I finally got my pet to leave it alone. The baby bull then attacked some brackasets. It died. I tried to help it, i really did.

so would u say the best way to find a baby bull rancor is through mission lairs or from random lairs?

Mission Lairs. I am also one of the unfortunate people who had their Bull Rancor Baby Die for some reason or another and not see one again until this day. In my case, mine despawned on me. Keep hunting for that bull baby, you will get him eventually if you want him bad enough.

i did over 700 missions, and got mine from a wild lair..i figure i've kiled over 3k bulls, and that was the only baby i've seen, so there is no EASY way, you might get lucky, but chances are you will have to do some grinding

I'm at over 700 missions, and I've yet to see a baby. Gonna keep trying and hope I can land one before the rebalance.

You can get 18k Bull Rancor missions with CL70 pets and you (master combat prof).
The 36k are typically "Enraged Rancor" missions. No bulls there.
It took me a ton of missions and more than a few natural lairs, but at the end of my search I found 2 babies. Both came from missions. The first poofed on me. The very next day, however, I got a second chance and got the tame. When it happened, I posted both about my failure and then about my luck. Was kind of funny. First post was sort of a "Damn this game to hell, woe is me" and then the next was "um, disregard that
