Creature Handler Archive

Ive just started to do the whole BEand CH thing. Ive been out getting different DNA samples, but I am not sure what is good for what. What should I be looking for in aDNA sample. How can I make a good DNA template. Do I need special crafting tools for this etc. Will my pets grow intheir stats if i train them?If so how should i train them?Can someone give me a detailed outline of what I need to do. IT would be greatly appreciated.
