Thread: Trading Pets at NPC CH
when the pet-trade-in system was established there was no natural non-ch bantha available. so the system gives u the next best thing it has to offer.
after cu there is now a non-ch mountable bantha (dwarf bantha). but to get one u have to ask a CH to tame one for u - which might take some time as they arent that common.
The short version is that you won't be able to trade a bantha for a bantha. Look for a dwarf bantha on Tatooine if you want a non-CH version.
(Note that I'm not sure if the CL is under 10 anymore. I didn't think about that in my response on the other thread.)
this isn't directly related but is too weird to not post
i had given a friend of mine a pet he couldn't handle (tusk cat) so he took it to a CH trainer who decided not to work with him. my friend then decided to do an experiment with his cu pa and see if that would trade (lvl 10, so it shouldn't have). it traded, and what he got back was a level 64 kwi which then went on to pick a fight with him. since he had earlier been screwed by the game and had lost all his skills/abilities and set back to level 1 i think this is an individual problem, but who knows.
it was really weird how the kwi wouldn't die, it was like a pet in that it only got incapped, but not like anything in that it just regen'd its health and woke up almost instantly. once we stopped attacking us it followed me around just like a pet would. gg SWG
