You know it's funny, I think everyone has a pet that just eludes them.
I just released my Sheer Mite Soldier back to the wild.. Replaced him with a Reclusive Sheer Mite (very nice upgrade seeing a +400 dmg is cool)
I found a Giant Pecko without even trying!!
But I'll be darn if I can find a Bull Rancor.. been searching for months and months non stop... Nada!!

Congrats! 
I found my Giant Peko Peko in a lair that had spawned just outside our city limits...

After nearly a month searching I finally tamed my Tanc Mite Warrior, sorry but this makes me super happy being a Mite collector that I am I found this one and actually tamed it after about 10 attempts and many aggros. Now I can try for the shear mite soldier provided I don't get the"you cannot tame that" problem the last time I found one. Hehe, I'm elated currently. Have a nice night.

Congrats Man......I am looking for a Giant Peko Peko....Have been for about a year and some odd now.....Glad you found what your looking for....at least someone did....

Congratz.. I know how you feel, there are some not so rare or special creatures out there that I simply love and no one cares about...
for instance the Wormed Vrobal... I love Giant Mawgax... I love the Kusak stalker and bark mite burrower collector.. and the screaming kai tok and enraged reptillian flier. I love Pugorisses.. And I wish Slice hounds were higher leveled cause i love them too... I don't like BE pets though Wish the elder pugoriss went tamable again.. sadly it didn't and I still can't find anyone who has one.

I've been running around Corellia trying to find a Great Plains Stalker. No luck yet.
Glad you found what you were looking for though. It's nice when you actually get something you want.

Giant Peko Peko have been out of the game, since well, long ago. They just brought them back in with the Combat Upgrade. I have mine and usually find them in the wilds of naboo, near lake retreat seems to be popular area for them in the hills. If you find a lair that has some giant peko's and peko's, mark the waypoint, and drive away 300m... Wait about hmm 1 min, or just after the lair disappears from radar, then about 30 seconds longer. Go back and see if the spawn changed. It's how I was able to get 2 of them.
I became a CH to get myself a Giant Peko Peko, 1 week before I became a master, they removed them from the server... OY... Glad they are back.

My favorite one is my Ancient Reptiallian flyer, ended up CL 68 so not bad to use in combat.
If SOE can code JET PACKS and players can fly? Why can't they code Master Creature Handlers the ability to teach a flying creature to be a mount for MCH as a gift for being a Master Creature Handler. And trust me there are flyers of vast size to equal this issue. The Giant Peko Peko might be too big to use as a mount and a Riverside Sulfer Mynock too small, but they can fix it. Did it with normal mounts, too small too ride.
