I looked through the boards and did not see an article on this. With the spreading of creature taming/holding/controlling through the profession, what would the recommended course through the trees to master?
Thanks in advanced (links to articles would be fine as well

I would say go for 1111, then probably 2111, then 2113, then climb the rest of the way up evenly. First step gets you come max level points, the second gets you taming vicious creatures (and a couple more max levels of course) and the third will take you up to 2 pets out with a max CL of 27 I think. Hit up those two middle sections for some quick max level bonuses and you're good to go. That's what I've been doing anyway and it seems to work out pretty well. I also recommend having a MCH tame you a couple pets beyond your range, you can use them until they outgrow you and then you have them waiting right when you hit their CL.
Hope that helps and if anyone has a better idea, definitely chime in here.

AS a CH who started just after the 'rebalance' I would suggest getting 1-1-1-1 (average XP per CL gained is lowest at level 1 skills, so you get the most bang per buck)....then go to 3-1-1-1 - so you can tame virtually anything you have a shot at....then focus on those boxes that give additional training commands (ie; ignore the psychology tree for the moment).....your aim is to MAX out the number of commands you can train critters in so you get the nest XP of each tame (assuming you want to go the TTR method like me - fighting will just get you dead nowadays)...
....finally I would strongly suggest getting some +CH clothing...not for the ability to tame tougher stuff, but to reduce the amount of time you get the 'you pet doesnt undertand you' message and have to try and tame the command all over....
the best way to use TTR is to cruise round 'picking up' babies and storing them in your datapad - once your datapad is full, drop a camp and train te critters in one go....I dont know whether it is actually quicker, but the 'feel good factor' of adding 5-10K to your XP all in one go helps me....
I hope this helps....

Fastest way? Get into a rancor hunting group enranged will give you 1400 exp each. normal ones are 6-700.

Well, the value of having two pets out is diminished because it's a combined CL of 27 between them. I usually tell people to do taming and training columns, since training gives you more commands to get XP on and increases the number of pets you can store.

Definitely that's the way for exp. Hunting babies for me is a pleasurable distraction when no one is online. When I want to grind xp, it's all about the enraged rancors. However I think the OP was more concerned with what boxes to get first, though your pacing I think could definitely determine it. If you're in a nightly or even a few times a week rancor group.. it almost doesn't matter, you'll gain them so fast.
