Looks like they just put a patch on TC to try to fix the pets sitting on us part.
We will be bringing down TC shortly for an update. Expected downtime is 45-60 minutes. We will be updating it with these fixes:
-Fixed a problem where players who left the Geonosian Bunker without completing it could not advance when they returned.
-Fix for problem where pets would stand on top of your character when following you.
-Fixed a problem with factories that was introduced yesterday.
If they are putting something on TC, thank heavens! Would it have been so hard to say something to us?
whats the point of taming lvl 50 pets when you can get a lvl 30 BE pet just as good if not better
I liked this class too
One thing that's been happening to me with the latest publish, is the generally increased auto-storing of pets/vehicles. It's generally a lil more for me on corbantis,BUT on Bloodfin where my pet and vehicle disappear ONCE per 2 mission run, sometimes both disappear.
That's not to mention the bug that's been bothering me the MOST: the fact pets stop following on server boundaries. I absolutley hate having to watch my radar ALL THE TIME. And i generally lose em anyway, and quite frequently. There has never been any recognition of this bug by SOE or thunderheart. It's like frequently dropping your wpn, then having to goback and pick it up. Grr. Thanks.

Yes. The continued inability to make the most basic stuff work ... movement & not auto-storing, are this product's most embarassing failure. They keep trying to make us look at the shiny new toys, and forget that all the existing toys don't work as advertised, and have never been fixed despite endless promises to do so.
I don't care how flashy the sunroof and the stereo are in my car if the tranmission and ignition systems fail every time I go for a drive.
Fixing the basics is not a "priority," it is not "on the map," it is essential. You either do it or your product fails, simple as that. If this team can't get its act together and fix the literally hundreds of basic game systems that have been broken since Beta and are broken in new ways with every inadequately tested Publication, this project will fail ... spectacularly.
my apoligies, see it was posted here, I hope they fix it, with high crit fails on my MBE and this mess with my MCH, not alot of reason to log in currently

I usually have to bite my tongue to keep from laughing when people say things like this, knowing full well they they'll pony up the same $15 at the end of this month, just like they did last month, for this "broken" and"failing" game.
(No offense - I've done the same thing. Never let it be said that the human race isn't, at its core, optimistic and hopeful, despite outward appearances to the contrary. And maybe slighty gullible to boot.)
