Ok, so I have recently decided to become a politician. I have scout: 4,1,4,2 Medic: 2,2,1,3, and marksmen:3,4,0,3, and entertainer:0,1,0,3. I have 95 skills points left, and i'm going to drop all my entertainer skills, so I should have about 20 more points. I was thinking about becoming a CH, but I'm gonna be a politician for my PA. What skills do I absolutely NEED to drop, or what others should I pick up. For example, will I need any other proffessions to be a good politician? Also, is it possible to keep the skills I have, and still be able to master politician? Anyways, i'm just starting to get into this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Let me ask something - do you want to be a politician?
If so, great, then as the previous poster stated, there's really no "template" involving Politician.
If not, and your PA just needs one, you might have a win-win by hooking up with one of the city-less Politicians on the forums who are perfectly happy to give up their skill points for you ![]()

Alright, thanks. I am going to stay with Pistol IV, Huntin IV, Exploration IV, and give up everything else, and go politician. My PA doesn't really recruit a lot, so getting a city-less politician is up to them, I suppose.
Master Politician requires 77 skill points, so you don't need to drop any existing skills (if you really do want to become a master politician).
If you want to become a CH as well, you may want to consider dropping your entertainer skills, as 18 pts is not very much to advance with. Then again, it depends on just how far you want to go in the CH profession.
When i got my holocron for Christmas it said Master Pistoleer, and I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on anything related to pistoleer. Tips on weapons, places to hunt, what tree to go up first, locations on trainers, any help would be much appritiated, Thanks. ![]()

In all seriousness, try the search option, because every single subject you raised has been discussed over and over again in great detail.
And when in doubt, try the stickied threads, which weren't written and/or stickied just to waste the authors' time and take up forum space.
Sorry if that seems snide, but you've basically come to the Pistoleer forum and asked "tell me everything there is to know about Pistoleer." Well, you are going to have to do some footwork to find the answers, I'm afraid. Okay, I'm not really afraid . . .
OUCH! That was harsh man. ![]()
I thought we were a community, not easy targets for flame-like posts? There only two reasons for a post like yours:
1. You have a hangover and will be back later to say sorry to the poor lad.
2. You're trying to get your post count up! lol ![]()
I don't know about the rest of you, but I find searching the boards to be a real pain. Most people start their posts with a title that gives no information about what the post is about - like this one actually - and then when I decide to look at the sitckied ones, they're all months old and I have to read 9 + pages before finding out that most of the information in the post is out-dated.
I know its a pain when people ask the same questions over and over again, but if you know there's a post that may help them, wouldn't it make more sense to post the link than to have a go, thus becoming another annoying person on the board? Like me ole mom always used to say "It doesn't cost a penny to be nice and helping others is its own reward"
Maybe I'm just too old to understand peoples constant need for conflict, or maybe I'm too nice, or maybe...just maybe I'm tooooooooooooooooooo STOOPID!!! lol
Either way, lets all have a big group hug and be friends or I'll have my Wookie friend rip your arms off and beat you to death with the soggy bits!
Play hard & dirty...
Just happened to be checkingthe forum againbefore going in to play . . .
Maybe I'm used to doing research and I find the 'search' option to be incredibly easy, I don't know. The point wasn't to be rude, it was to say 'asked and answered, now go find the answers using a search.'
If anyone were to run text searches of the individual clauses in the original post...

...they would be able to find a dozen detailed posts answering those very questions.
I could run a search and find the answers for this person, but then when they had more questions they'd just ask again instead of looking on their own. My thinking was: teaching someone how to find the answers on their ownis a better longterm option. Especially when the question is not specific at all.
