State attacks seem good, and any that increase pets health regen rate or other bonuses to damage, speed or accuracy.
I understand completely about not wanted to part with old friends. I know I could get better but I have stuff 12 months old and I can't think of playing without them.

theorb22, not sure what you mean by (And only) unless you are just talking about when you kill it and it doesn't respawn from being killed. I was finally able to get a GPS baby a few minutes after I posted in this thread, doing exactly what I described I was doing. To me that constituted about 50 or 60 maybe more respawns of said GPS.
You guys are talking 2 diff things on the respawn.
1) Prior to the CU and the new CH Pub a static spawn like the Great Plains Stalker on Corellia would have a single creature out when you came across it. If it was not a baby (which 99.9% of time it was not) you would kill the first creature and wait for the second creature to spawn. If another adult you would then kill it and wait for the third creature to spawn. Just like a lair would spawn 3 waves of creatures.
2) Post CU the static spawns no longer repawn a creature if you kill the first one when you come across it. The new method to get the static spawns to pop a baby is to NOT KILL THE FIRST CREATURE IF IT'S AND ADULT!!! What you do instead is set a waypoint, drive away about 450 to 500m and then return to the waypoint. They server will reset and when it calls up the creature from the database there is a chance that instead of an adult it will be a baby. I know this works cause I did it last night taming Thune Grassland Guardians on Dantooine. I must have spawned a dozen or more of them from 4 seperate lairs that were very close to each other. I wound up with 2 that had innat specials! woohoo!
Hope that helps.
