Thread: Can your pets have babies?

Was sitting here thinking of ways to try and get xp and reading up on that when it occured to me.......Creature Handlers tame critters that can have babies. Has anyone ever had their pets have babies?
If that is not a current option/feature of the game I think it would be neat and help enhance the CH profession. You could breed animalswith features you want over so many generations. Of course you would need a ranch or something like that for the room.

I tried to float this idea a while back when asked what our combat role should be. Never got listened to though...

the idea is a very good one. it would require that we can have more stored pets though.
just for the fun of it, and RP reasons.
My GSP (Mandalorian-Luck) got my other GSP (Sabre) pregent and now i have a LSP (Kitty)
My Rancor (Tosh) attacked my old guild leaders Rancor (Creamy) and force herself on him and now i have a second Rancor called (Spike).

Yeah, it's a cool idea... and breeding chocobos for particular desiredtraits was of the things I really enjoyed in Final Fantsy VII. I think this sort of thing might step too much on the Bio-Engineer's toes, though.

Not really a problem I think (putting on BE hat). This would be captive breeding vs. genetic engineering, a much slower process overall, and you wouldn't be able to do the wacky things BE's can do (like add genetic material from wildly different species).
I like the idea mainly for the RP aspects.

thats sounds cool if they gave us ranches and stuff it would be really cool
i would bread a army of......WOOTS and unlease them on fort tuskin HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Think I will send an e-mail to the feedback e-mail addy I got from a csr. Would really love to hear back if any ranches or zoos planned and if the would consider the pets being able to breed.
