I think so. Kimos r really just show off pets cause their attack speed is too damn slow.

From my experience I'd say rancer bio or natural is better than a kimo's
Kimo's seem too run away alot in battle, although it may be from the courage and dependebility sections on the experimental section of the Bio template being passed over for the larger ham and damage points.
Kimo's are also too large for caves and areas of high vegitation, you need to see evrything to respond in time and visibility can be poor lol, although that also applies to rancers in caves and on some dungeons like the warren and geo....
I have a Kimo I use for show in my city and to entertain people they are cool just to have one :-)
I have had rancors natural ones on occasion but always seem to set it free for something better.
hope this helps

Kimos are okay, with the only exception that they are so big that they are always trying to get into there range of attack, thus making them back up and run a lot. And they have a nasty habit of covering up what you are aiming for. I like the way they look, but I've always been a bigger fan of the Rancor, don't ask me why I just have been. Give me a good BE rancor with Strong Desease and knock down or what ever and I'll be happy.

By the by. Pets, wild or BE don't run because of a courage issue. It's an attack range issue...

I believe this to be true also, but with a second character i did bio engineer and noticed that there are 2 skill lvl,s we dont see in pets it is courage and dependibility and may be why they run (sometime lol is this better) it was just a thought because i dont see reg kimo's run and ive killed quite a few. but i do agree with the creatures trying to get into fighting range. but its not the only reason why. our pets suffer from intimidation in some cases and just plain run away. they never did this when i first mastered CH and it started happening in late fall i believe or around the ch balance ah dont quote me on the timeframe i kinda forget lol but I do know my first cpl of months as master i did not suffer from this. mastered Ch around end of aug or beg of sept, 03 i forget lol
anyways wer straying from the origanal post and as i said before Rancor over Kimo for fighting
