I looked up some creatures on www.swgcreatures.com that should have been in my skill level for a new novice CH. One of these was the bagareset, which according to the site, is level 10. As a novice, I should be able to train up to level 12. Not to mention my +10 bonus for taming being a Wookie. I rifled a Bagaraset lair or 2 on Corellia and was able to not kill a baby, just the adults. When I tried to tame it, I was told "You cannot tame that". I tried several times. Now, could this be because maybe the baby was agitated or something. After taking out the lair, I waited several minutes, so it was just walking around, not afraid. What am I missing or doing wrong here?

You should unless it was a rogue, was it agro (red on radar) if it was u need tame vis creat skills

As a wookiee and with taming clothes, the vicicous part was not the problem. Rogues Baggies are CL 13, which is one level above what a novice can handle.

very true i stand corrected as wookie dresses as such agro wasnt the problem :-)
My pets are not weapons they are my companions, my friends who shall travel by my side always :-)))))
