I heard a rumor yesterday that there was a debate as to wether or not droids and I assume pets also would be able to be called on board ships in the new expansion. PLEASE tell me this is just a nasty rumor. I neeeeed to be able to have my lucky space chicken (baz nitch) next to when I am piloting my ship. Dose anyone know anything about this this is a VERY VERY big deal for me!!!!

Yes, pets will be allowed in JTL. However you will have to tie a leash to the pumper of your ship and hope that they can keep up.

YIkes, I asked this same question in the Jump to light speed forum, ..and from the stickey a guys posted.. no pets =( you will be able to acess driodsthem but not call them, so no callin pets probably either maybe they will change there minds?

I can imagine having small pets on the YT-1300, maybe even a bantha or two. But ah.. I dont think a Rancor would fit!

All I want is a bumper sticker that says,

"Dont Cut me off or I will throw Rancor Bile on your windshield"

Remember it's only in Beta right now.. what they go into beta with will be different than what they come out with.. and do you know if that the person who told you knows anything about the beta?

I'd wait to get your hopes up or down until acutal release notes come out closer to the end of beta testing...

My opinnion is that you should be able to have a droid in a vehicle.. probibly not a creature.. think of it.. now you have to carry your pooperscooper with you into space.... that can get down right messy...

but seriously if it's space combat then there is no reason to have a droid in an x-wing (except your pilot R2 ofc). If it's a battle inside of a corelian corvette or on a capital ship then you should be able to have pets as long as they are shorter than the celing

Exactly. I'm not sure what the status is on calling pets (both creature and droid) inside the "multipassenger" starships, but this is certainly something that will be examined and finalizedduring Beta. If it's still in doubt at that time, I'll definitely bring it up.
