i've just recently discovered for myself (after playing since july 01 03) the total coolness that is ch. these new changes are mind-boggling, and the thought that i won't be able to use my great pets...-sigh-.

i am, however, hopeful. i would imagine that they would just delete pets outright if they had no intention of ever including ch in the new system. might be a few months, but i believe that it will find its way back. it's as if they are launching a new game, and features are always slimmed down at launch, especially of a new mmo. shoot, when this game started, there weren't even any heavy weapons for 2 months. no vehics, mounts, player cities, etc.

now whether my die-hard ch friends will hang around until they reintroduce their prof is another question entirely, but i sure hope they do.

When I think of never seeing my beloved pets out in full-size again, it makes me weep, literally.

Oneof my fondestmemories in this gameisof the hunt when my pet snorbel, along with my hunting partner's petsbravely held off a rancor so we could run away. Afterwe ran up and over a Dathomirian mountain and waited a minute,we figured it was safe forus to try to sneak back and pick my Oliphant, and the othersup with pet stims and get the heck away from that lair. Very carefully we approached waypoint where we knew we had last been fighting.What do we see? Our heroic pets hanging out with the rancors!

We laughed for months about that night. Even speculated that our pets had made an arraignment with the rancors to make a show worthy to illustrate to us how utterly fierce and loyal our animals would be under such an amazing attack.

I hate to think of Oliphant poofing away. I cannot abandon him to the wild. But does he have to be consigned to being a half-inch tall spinning cartoon on my datapad?

I know you guys have decided that 1% of the player population is not worth trying to work into your new system. Okay, few could argue with that, by the numbers, anyway. And, all of these wheels are in motion towards these changes. I know that they are to come to pass. Period.

But, here's an idea, and I hope that by some freak accident someone who can do something reads this:

Please let us re-deed our trained pets off of our datapad and into our inventory. At least then we can look at them, we can build memorials to them and remember...

You're asking a lot of your loyal, veteran players. Please give us a tiny token of your sympathy and understanding and enable this simple function.

Even when people said it was stupid.

I know this is just a game.. but loosing my pets has upset me more than I care to admit. Yes,let us have the option of deeding them. We've been given the shaft big time, give us at least this.
