I became a Novice CH at the weekend and the first thing I did was go on a sight seeing tour to pick up some pets.

I picked up a few pets on Tattoine, a Cu Pa, a Zuca Boar, womp rat and a Jundland Eopie. Then I took a trip off to Corilea to have a mooch there and picked up a CL12 Swamp Cat. My question is whilst the Cu Pa etc have already reached their full stats my Jundland Eopie and the Swamp cat are only going up a level a day (24 hours), I could understand the eopie as I don't think its been out since I tamed it but I have hunted (albeit it junk around town) with the cat and its still going slow, why the difference?

Probably been asked a million times before and I appologise if this is common knowledge and I am being stupid.

CST, the pet grows by the the first numbet in the CL, 7am and 7pm each day. Then grow the rest on the last cycle. He can miss a growth cycle occassionally.

So if he is 29.. the first growth could be 24 hours.. then it would grow 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,29

Thanks Greenstok, one last question (well till the next stupid question I have) how do you determine how many cycles a particular pet will go through before the last big jump?

Pets can also go way beyond this scheme. Sometimes pets are around 1 week to grow to full speed, sometimes much longer (depending on level of course). The most extreme incident I have had is what I have right now. I have a set of dual 15 gurreck BE creatures. I have had them for 3 weeks, and they just reached level 9. Go figure.

I generally get my pets at least 2 weeks before I can use them, just so they are ready-to-go.
