I am a Master CH, but can't tame a level 70 pet I purchased. Why is this, and how can I fix it?

Do you have BE taming clothes? If not, make sure you get some, esp. if it's a viscous creature.

Why would you need BE clothes to tame a level 70 creature? Isn't that the level a master should be able to tame?

That is the max level you are *capable* of taming - not guaranteed to tame - as there is always a change of failure, and taming viscous creatureshasa different skill mod. As Joker would say, read the stickies.

I have tamed level 68's and 69's in 1 or 2 tries but I have also tried to tame the same level with the exact equipment and it took 15 mins...

Taming a 70 is not guaranteed (especially right off the bat), clothing and foodstuffs can make a difference but it is our epic attempt as it were.



I miss my pets, my slobbering yet faithful protector named Cuddles the Rancor.

The SPCA said they won't sue for killing virtual animals...

but how do you get pets to stop lvling? or do you only get them at the lvl you tame them at?

You cannot make a pet stop levelling. The baby will eventually grow into whatever it's predetermined adult level is.

Can anyone tell me specifically what foods I should look for to help me as a CH? Also, can anyone reccomend good chef shop and Tailor shop on Gorath? Thanks.
