I'm very confused about how I can go about getting a Cu Pa mount...

Thanks!

Creature Handlers (specifically, Pack Masters and Master Creature Handlers) are the only players in the game who can train any pet, be it natural or BE created, as a mount.

BEs can create cu pas that are level 10 or below that a non-CH can call and ride around. Any newly tamed BE creation will start out at baby size and will take 3-5 days to grow to the mount trainable size.

Same applies to a wild tamed cu pa; it will take 3-5 days from taming to grow large enough to be trained as a mount. A novice CH can tame your cu pa for you, but onlya Pack Master or MCH can train it as a mount.

Best way to do this is to find a CH to tame a cu pa for you, trade it to you, let it grow over that 3-5 day period until its full sized, then find a Pack Master or MCH to train it for you as a mount. No need (unfortunately) to seek out saddle and tackle; the act of training will produce these things and you'll have a ride.
