Thread: Problem taming a creature

I am a new Master Creature Handler. I have clothes giving me bonuses to taming Wild and Vicious creatures, putting those modified skills at +95 for Vicious and +135 for Wild. I bought a level 73 BE'd Razor Cat. Every time I try to tame it, I get a message telling me Iack the skills to tame that creature. Any ideas what might be wrong? I submitted a bug and customer serivce ticket, but in the meantime, maybe somebody here knows what's going on. Thanks.

Your level 73 razor cat is uncallable. There is a hard cap at level 70, regardless of taming bonuses from BE clothing, or attachments, or racial bonuses (Wookiees and Ithorians).

Well now, that sure sucks. 
Time to contact the vendor for a refund. 
Thanks for the tips. Oh, btw. Are there any higher pre-CU pets, already tamed, that we can use?

Sorry. CL70 is the cap - period. Alot of CH's got taken back because their favorite pre-CU pets are now uncallable. Either because the pet's general CL went above 70 (Malkoc's and the such) or becuase their CL was altered to better fit their stats.
