Does anybody have an idea what are good tactics in the amount of animals u should use on missions. You got about 70 point of creature level to spent at least I do as an Wookiee.

One very strong creature plus a lesser one, two of level 35, three of +/- level 23 creature or some other combination.

I find that a single pet works fine, but leaves no margin for error or "weirdness". (Examples of weirdness, the roba boar that ignored both me and my pets and went and beat my car up... the sharnaff that refused to acknowledge that my pets existed and chased me until the pets killed him from behind)

One thing to keep in mind with regard to multiple pets, at least in my experience, is that the smaller pet will be the one that takes aggro. There's some neat ways to use this to your advantage if you know a BE that does custom orders. A level 26 armored pet with high HAM and kinetic resist paired with a "bred-for-damage" level 44 pet can be a great team.

I often use a pair of armored cats, but keep my mount standing next to me as my last ditch defense. As a wookiee I can't take hits, so I need a backup tank.

I use 2 BE pets. I have a few pairs for differnt things. The best way to contol which does which, like attack first and take aggro is to use different commands for each pet. That way you have more control. It also helps to be able to call one of the pets back, if it is taking a beating or you got aggro from something. It also works good with AOE attacks like fanshot. Send one pet on each mob and fanshot them both.

I've used every pet combination that I can think of and most definitely prefer 2 pets that equal level 70 (or near) to 1 high level pet. Though the highest level pet I have is level 50 - I've yet to find one of those mythical high level pets. So, I don't know how 1 uber pet compares to 2 midlevel pets.

As to low level pet/high level pet combo vs. 2 midlevel pet combo, I've decided it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Though let me qualify that. The lowest level pets I use (in combo with my level 44-46 pets) are a level 22 voritor and level 25 boar wolf - both with very decent resistances/ham. I've decided any lower than that is just too low to bother making room for them in my datapad. My midlevel pets are all in the level 30 - 40 range (and I have 2 level 50's) and I mix and match them to get level 70 (or near). How I mix and match depends on what I'm attacking.

MrHawat's strategy is one I like to use especially when using low level/high level combo because the low level pet will take most of the damage. I willsometimes use traps to slow or stop the attacked creature when I call off the lower level pet. This usually (not always) allows mypet to get away, because the creature will focus on the pet still attacking rather than continue to follow the pet trying to escape.

I personally don't like using 3 pets that equal level 70, because I think that they get incapped too quickly and just don't do as much damage as low level/high or 2 midlevels. You end up going through a lot more petstims.
