Thread: Piket Plains Walkers

Last night I was runnign a couple piket missions for cash when a baby piket plains walker spawned. I tamed it for the ttr and looked at it. The creature had a 40% kenetic resist. It was a max level of cl32. It seems like it would be a decent wild pet for that level. what do you think?

Boar wolf from endor, CL 25, 50 kinetic.
BE pets can be better.

Yes, those little Boar Wolf babies are excellent pets. As Irun around looking for BE pets for myself, I noticed that I have not seen a CL25 BE pet that's an overall better pet. 9000 HAM with a 50% kinetic resist even without light armormakes it a winner for its level. Plus, they're all over on Endor.Anyonewho says they're having trouble finding one needs their vision corrected.
Now, I am not scorning BE pets. Nearly all of my fighting is done ith my BE critters because of their strengths. I mainly keep my rares out of harm's way as even a rare with a 99 vitality is still tarnished. Plus, the time required to replace the rares just does not make their use desirable.

While I too think Boar Wolf is hard to beat (as I have 3 of them). The Piket isn't terrible (I have 1 of them). Here are some quick comparisons:
Boar Wolf Piket Plains Walker
CL: 25 32
Damage: 240-250 290-300
Aggressive: Yes No
Base-To-Hit: .36 .40
HAM: 9000 9700
Kinetic: 50% 40%
Energy: 0% 20%
Blast: 30% 20%
Heat: 0% 20%
So, there may be times when it would make sense to use a Piket, especially if you don't have a high enough vicious taming level to tame the Boar Wolf since it's Aggessive and the Piket is not.

CL: 25 32
Damage: 240-250 290-300
