Creature Handler Archive

As many of you know on rare occassions when destroying a creature lair, after the second lairspawn, a third spawn will take place. This is usually a variation on the creatures you had been killing.

Just now I squashed a Graul Mangler, no idea if this thing spawns babies but on resitances alone it is better than the mauler. It came from a Graul Mauler Lair on Dantooine

Can't see the CL on it, but suspect it's the 35-40 range based on the CH xp I got from it.


Any Babies worth looking for if they do. Just curious if anyone else has seen this one before.

I've seen those before. I haven't seen babies on them but I do have hope that they might spawn because I was hunting on Dathomir last night for new pets and my friend sent me a tell as she was hunting on Dantooine saying the "Boss Type" pet for one of the Huurton lairs spawned as a baby. Forgot what the hell it was called though

They are certainly a nice surpirse when you think the lair is empty HEH. No idea if they spawn babies.

A Lot of the lairs now spawn bosses at the end. Nothing more heart stopping then defeating an ancient bull rancor spawn, and having a boss spawn out of the lair. Darn thing was HUGE (at least 50% taller than a normal rancor). Not much harder to kill than the bulls, but man, was that interesting.

I have a SS of it, cant recall the name. Might have been a normal Bull Rancor lair.

I'm almost positive boss spawns don't spawn babies. I've personally been on the recieving end of dozens of boss spawns and I've never seen a single baby. I guess we'll know for sure when the new data set for scout is included. My favorite boss spawn is the Hulking Brute for Enraged Rancor lairs.
