I am a MCH on Bria. The last two times I have taken my pets out I can't control them. They show the "!" but if any creature is on the radar after a few seconds they go after them to attack them, the same with NPCs. It doesn't matter if they red or yellow on the radar, it doesn't matter that they were not attacked. I call them back to me and they will come at first but after a few seconds they once again turn and attack the nearest creature or NPC. I call them repeatedly to try and get them far enough away from anything so I can check their commands, but they are all there. But as soon as something spawns within like 100m after a few seconds they then immediately aggro the creature/NPC that has shown up. I have tried to get them to stay, to guard, so forth, but the same thing happens. I was so mad the last time I sent three /bug reports in after my creature did it again. One of my best pets kept agrroing so much, and there were so many creatures around us that I couldn't get him to stop long enough to keep him from getting killed (he attacked SMC sisters who I happen to have 5000 faction points), I ran to a distance and kept repeatedly using the /tellpet command to get him to come and he would as long as I did this every few seconds, but I couldn't get him away from other creatures/NPCs long enough to keep him alive, so now he has the hideous "vitalize" tab on him which I won't do, since this was none of my doing and completely abnomal for any of my pets to behave this way.
I tried it with four of my pets and they all acted this way. So now I won't bring any pets out because I can't control them anymore. Is anyone else had this problem? As usually sending in /bug reports is useless, nothing ever happens to change the problem. So can anyone help? Is this happening to your pets? Please help so I can get my pets and use them again. I miss them.

it has to do with agressiveness. This started happening in patch 13

I knew this was being implemented to some degree, but this is so bad you are no longer a creature handler. How in the world can MCH not hand dangerous pets? Masters in the Real World do this all the time, so what is the excuss for this? Why be a MCH if you can't handle your creatures? By the way this did not matter whether it was a BE pet or a tamed wild pet. They both did this. I have been playing a creature handlers continually since SWG was in beta and until just the last couple of weeks I could pretty much control all my pets. So why should you have anything other than Kaadu so you know you can control the stupid thing. If agro pets are going to be this uncontrolable they have become useless, and they have become even less useable in PvP or PvE situations let alone hunting with them. Basically they are taking this profession out of SWG and we are all sitting around doing nothing about it.

Passing along the concerns and suggested fixes for the hyper aggressive behavior. I think right now the most popular suggested fix is to make one of the existing commands (like Follow or Guard) into a toggle for it. Failing that, restrict the behavior to only creatures at the high end of the ferocity scale (like the great plains stalker).

Sorry guys for the triple post there, not sure why that happened.
Well there are a lot of problems with the new aggresive/control system. We have all been trying to collect animals that had a descent chance in a wide varitey of situations. Barring spaming the animal constantly you loose total control. What so called "Creature Handler" would ever have a creature he has no ability to control (definitely makes the title silly). If these animals are so aggressive that no one even masters can control them then they should not only attack every silly creature/NPC around they should attack anyone grouped with you and also kill their own so called masters. Right now you have absolutely no control over them at all.
We have all spent tons of time tracking down, endangering ourselves to get some of these top quality wild animals and in one totally dumb swoop they make them totally useless. Why would you go for a GPS if you can never control it. Animals throughout history have been used for everything even the most dangerous animals that can be found. Of course those peopleare what we wouldcallthe "Masters" in their profession, and they usually specialize in certain types of creatures, but everything from bears, to lions, tigers, apes, wolves, elephants and so on have been "tamed" and used in guarding, warfare not to mention a wide variety of non combat situations. And many of these "Masters" handle numbers of them at one time, infact we are so impressed with their "handling" (controlling the animals) ability we pay big bucks to go watch them put them through their paces whether for military/police/sentry duties or for fun as in a circus or marvel when they are used for a wide variety of other purposes.
But this is making us have to go to BE's to give us creatures that will not aggro, with stats that are going to be survivable. As it is now why would you waste your time trying to get a GSP or a Bull Rancor since you can't even bring them out to show others. If these things aggro everything all the time they should do it in a city as well, tearing appart everything. It makes absolutely no sense.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Ug please this has got to go Vert.
I finally was able to get my Giant Spat mounted and now all he does is run off chasing Durni, Vrelt, and Gubber's every time i pull him out. I can have him sitting down and being told to stay and no luck he still takes off at anything that moves. Why am i gonna spend all these skill pts bein a CH when i can't even use my Pets.

I noticed that too with my Cl 20 BE pet. ONly it doesn't do it all the time. Only ranodmly. I'm a 2/1/1/1 CH and my pet willl stay with me most fo the time. BUt in order for it not to wander off AT ALL I have to repeatedly type the follow command. I visit the Swuill Caves a lot in Tat(working ON COmabt xp to beocme BH) so I use the guard command a lot. So my pey jumps in to action pretty fast, but sometimes when I'm trying to heal him he'll run off, find his own squill and then try to solo him. Very frustrating when he has 10k HAM and I have to reheal him every time in order to continue for me to stay alive not being buffed most of the time and my stims are running low.
I ussually keep his health up during the battle constantly ehaling him taht way I don't have to it later and waste time. But someitmes we get double ganged and he loses a lot...and normally it's because he went a found a group of dem....without me.

Well its got to the point for me where i am thinking of dropping MCH to take another build, and then (hopefully) re-take it after the CU.
Its a shame, since i love MCH, but it is completely unusable for me at the moment, and preventing me from doing the things i used to do. I dont want to have to wait 8 weeks before i can play properly again.
Any ideas Vert on whether this could be fixed soon (like next update) or is it a slightly longer thing?
