Thread: Rare Hunting

My current template is MCH/MRM, and I decided the other day that I really wanted to try BE. However, I am in the (constant) process of hunting a Bull Rancor and other rares. Would the lack of MRM make the hunt exceedingly more difficult? Are there any of you that hunt these guys regularly without a second (yes, second, I'm counting CH) mastered combat profession? I'm trying to find things that excite me in this game, hunting rares and BE are it right now, so I'm trying to see if I can make them compatible. Thanks!

kudali, i dabbled in be for a while, and never dropping any ch, i did drop some rifle temporarily to go up the cloning tree, master rifle is probably the most powerful skill box in the game, lots of mods..lol...you will notice a HUGE difference in your combat ability..my advice would be to keep hunting the rares, it will take substantially longer if you start dropping rifle, once you get your bull, then think about dropping it...keep grinding with the tenloss( i completely wore out 2, 4 repairs each)and it will come

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. I dropped the master box but have yet to try it out... I have enough banked xp to retrain two level 4 boxes if I want to even try dropping those. I'm starting to think the bull is going to take forever (and it kind of already has...) and that I ought to try and do something else as well with my time in game. Thanks for the reply!
