The last week or so my pets have been pretty much useless thry are dissarpering all the time almost evry fight and when they are out they do nothing my gurreck just croches there when i tell it 2 attack it has no ranged attck so that cant be it looks as though he is about 2 do a special but just crouches there it has knokdown as its first specaial ive never seen it do this even on comand could this be part of the problem any advice

Been playing sum more and it just keeps getting worse this time i had 2 pets out factional pet and droid and 1 buy 1 they all dissapered leaving me 2 die dont no what 2 do

With creatures the new aggresive addition has made the vast majority of pets useless. It is impossible to control them. I have heard of the disappearing act of the creatures from datapads as well, but this hasn't happened to my characters to this point yet. The only really viable wild pets that are of any serious capabilities at the moment isa Blurgg or Gurreck. They are both non-aggessive and should behave themselves considerably better then vast majority of the creatures you more then likely have at this point in you datapad. The other option is special order from BE's but be very specific in your order that you want it to be a non-aggresive BE pet, or you will still have the same problem. Your pets will just go crazy without your ability to control them unless you constantly spam the pet, then you just might keep control for a little bit, but as soon as you send it in to attack, once it is finished with the one you sent it after you had better immediately start spaming it again or you will then loose total control on the pet. This means you have to be constantly aware of what your pet is doing so you know when to start spaming, so you had better not be in any heated fight yourself or you will not catch your animal in time.

My experience is that the rancor wanders off to snack; the gurreck behaves as he's supposed to, and awaits a command to attack, doesn't wander off with a case of the munchies.

So, follow Jolandir's advice. My GSH and swamp stalker have also shown a propensity to go off looking for snacks. The GSH is VERY hungry; no durnis or gnorts, he goes for kaadu and bagarasets.

its not that they are wondering off attcking things i know about the agrrsiveness thing they dissapear leave the group and are no where to be seen still need 2 be stored from datapad though it mainly seems to be when they are fighting a ranged npc who runs but it does happen other times asswell

I think this person isn't just being bothered by the agressiveness changes, that sounds like a real problem :/. Try contacting a CSR, make sure to use the call customer service option though and not /bug. (A whole bunch of people do that by accident, is it any wonder they never get service?)

Just wanted to say hi, I'm picking up CH again on a new toon and wanted to say I noticed the same problem last night. I was just outside coronet on Bria hanging out in someone's camp when I wild spawn of gubbers popped up next to us. I figured it was a good chance to get some quick and easy CH xp and I had both my swamp gurrcat (currently at level 4 as of last night) and my probot out. About 5 or 6 kills into it I noticed the gurrcat never came back to me....I'm working on rifles so I stay back of course.....so I go looking for a gurrcat corpse but no go. Finally had to store and call it again. A few corpses later the same thing happened with my droid!! Neither were grouped with me at the time. Maybe one of the latest patches or hotfixes hosed something up? I understand about the new aggressiveness problems but droids don't have that problem so this was definitely something else.

I dont know what 2 say been playing all day today no problems with pets or droids i was grinding faction pts the other day and it happened every time
