Thread: Trouble locating baby rasps

I've did a search on swgcreatures.com to try and find all the tamable rasps and then I went otu searching. I've spent three hours on 3 different planets and not come across a single wild baby. Am I missing something? Are any of these kinds missionable?

Everytime I take a rasp mission on Talus I find 2-4 horned rasp (baby). If you can't pull a rasp mission try using a lower end weapon or taking off your armor, or putting away a pet. Sometimes you may even have to call a newly tamed pet to get low enough missions.
I find entertainers tend to like rasps flying around their cantinas.
[Edit: missions I take are song rasp nest, takes about 5 min to run the mission and tame the birds.]

The Agrilat is the prime place for rasps on Corellia. I've found a number of babies there in the past.

i believe the horned is the only one you can get for non ch's (dancers) since it's lvl 6 non aggro...i had to get one for someone once, and i couldn't manage to get rasp missions on talus, so i just drove around for a while and found a wild lair...first one i found had a baby

I usually go for Agrilat (red) or Plumed (blue) rasps for Entertainers. The best place I have found to get them is near the edge of the swamp on Corellia. Fly into Doaba and head straight to the swamp. Hunt along the shore of the swamp and you'll find them there (it's also a good spot to find spats).

Tried this, got nothing I'm afraid. The missions i'm taking are about 1.2k each and yet no babies spawned (tried 10 lairs).

i just now tamed 1 plumed rasp and 1 agrilat rasp, i had trouble finding them till i saw this thread, i just landed at doaba guenfel or however its spelled and went west to the swamp. i just ran around till i found a rasp spawn and milked it till some babies appeared took less than 20 minutes total. both species came from the same nest and i tamed one of each. i didnt know they would come from the same nest.
im now on talus trying to complete my bird collection but not having any luck finding rasp babies there.
