Thread: Odd Question re PVP and Pets

I have been a MCH for oh... I guess going on 6months now, and for the first time, someone asked me a question I couldn't answer...

A potential customer (Non-CH) approached me the other day and asked me to get him a non-CH pet. When I asked him if he expected to be able to fight with it, he said, "Well I heard that you could use pets to prevent specials for a short time on PvP."

I sorta gaped and said I had never heard that... and that I didn't see how it could be true... but since I'm not a PvP'er, I wouldn't really know.

Can anyone who "knows" respond to this question for me? It seems like a pretty straightforward "Oh please, don't be silly..." but I'm certainly willing to be wrong.

Very very very very few specials have a windup timer which basically means that some specials take a few seconds to get off (like the new DB timer). So if you are attacked during this "windup" timer you get interrupted and the special stops. He might be reffering to using pets to attack people to do this, but other than that their are absolutely no other ways for pets to stop specials.
